Does USTeleradiology provide a final report?
For overnight service, we call and fax a preliminary report to the hospital, ER, and radiology department as well as calling the ER doctor. For day service, we can provide preliminary or final reports, as needed by our client.
Is USTeleradiology located in the United States?
Yes. USTeleradiology is based in Atlanta, Georgia and Palm Springs, California. All reads stay in the continental United States .
How much does it cost to start using your service?
USTeleradiology charges our clients nothing to set up our services. However, in some cases there will be initial costs associated with technical set-up to establish connection(s) with your PACS systems or with individual scanners. We have an established relationship with Neurostar Solutions, an Atlanta-based provider of high-quality, low-cost, reliable, HIPAA-compliant web-based teleradiology solutions. Information about Neurostar Solutions can be found at neurostarsolutions.com. If you prefer other distance-reading technology, we would be happy to work with your preferred provider.
Should I be concerned that USTeleradiology will take over my hospital contract?
Absolutely not. We look to partner with you to improve your service -- we are not predatory. We are strictly a teleradiology/nighthawk service. Furthermore, we have non-compete language in our current contract and will allow you to add further non-compete language to the contract, as you deem fit.
Is there a minimum nightly requirement?
No. There is no nightly minimum requirement to partner with USTeleradiology.
How long have you been in business?
We have been assisting practices for seven years and have multiple clients in multiple states.
Why are all of our reads conducted in Atlanta? Do you farm out the services?
The night services have always been, and will continue to be, read in a central location because this optimizes the entire process. The center has a secretary, IT staff, 24/7 support, and a doctor assigned to your practice present at all times.
What are the networking capabilities of the Atlanta and Palm Springs teleradiology centers?
Our downtown Atlanta and Palm Springs Reading Centers are equipped with the best networking capabilities in the Southeast, including T1, DSL, cable modem, and multiple, redundant phone lines, all supported by 24-hour generators. Additionally, we are able to read on multiple platforms and may be able to integrate with your current system.
Are you JCAHO Accredited?
Yes, we are Accredited by the Joint Commission (JCAHO). We are in full compliance with applicable Ambulatory Care standards.
